Dans ce contexte, il examine la reconnaissance internationale du droit comparé (jurisprudence comparée) comme discipline savante, son potentiel heuristique et axiologique, les débats relatifs à sa nature, son rôle dans la promotion de la coopération internationale et dans le système d’enseignement juridique. L’auteur conclut que la création du CIDC-AISJ a, d’une part, reflété l’évolution de la perception, par la communauté internationale, du rôle et de la place des sciences juridiques et, d’autre part, a joué un rôle déterminant dans l’élaboration du paradigme moderne de la jurisprudence comparée (droit comparé).Based on little-known documents of UNESCO and other materials, the author reveals the back-story, specialties of the establishment and activities of the International Committee of Comparative Law and its successor — International Association of Legal Science. In this context, aspects of the international recognition of comparative law (comparative jurisprudence) as a scholarly discipline, its heuristic and axiological potential, debates about its nature, its role in promoting international cooperation and in the system of legal education were examined. The author concludes that the creation of the ICCL — IALS, on the one hand, reflected changes in the vision by the international community of the role and place of legal sciences and, on the other hand, has played significant role in shaping the modern paradigm of comparative jurisprudence (comparative law).Cairn restricted access
