Descripció
Sumari:Martin Heidegger: The Philosophy of Another Beginning, the English translation of a book by Alexander Dugin, was published by a far-right American publishing house in 2014. The book is intended to serve as an introduction to Heidegger’s thinking for members of the European and American far right. Though it is devoid of philosophical interest, this esoterizing introduction must nevertheless have a certain importance owing to its reception, if only because the author is not without a readership. Furthermore, Dugin’s reading of Heidegger openly acknowledges the National Socialist dimension of Heidegger’s work, which he interprets in texts from the 1930s. However, he never quotes the most explicitly extermination-focused passages. The fully folkloric slant of Dugin’s traditionalist, Slavist style is intended to render Heideggerian radicalism acceptable among esoteric and Orthodox circles.
