What did the Jews in these communities know about the situation of the Jews in Europe and how did they react to these events, according to the local Jewish media ? As was the case elsewhere, they were fairly well informed. More often than not, they were eager for information and ready to show their solidarity in what was frequently a difficult environment, particularly in Syria.
