The purpose of this article is to stress the permanent contact between historians and the Zentralle Stelle of Ludwigsburg since its creation in 1958. The article also aims to demonstrate how documentation resulting from judicial research has unexpectedly become – against all the expectations of West German jurists – the main research issue in contemporary history.Cairn free access |
