By supranational definition, these laws suppose a human right superior to the State right, and, as a consequence, a right to interfere and intervene. Discussed during the Conference on Peace (1919), this notion failed in its implementation after the war, a failure that is due, among other reasons, to the inadequacy of the Conference on Peace and to the invalidation of the Treaty of Sèvres of 1920.Cairn free access
