It became quickly evident that this benevolent organization was no more able to regroup and repatriate the corpses and that the state must take over these tasks.This article is followed by the report written by Captain Belmont, an officer send to Diên Biên Phu one year after the end of the battle to seek the graves of the French Union soldiers.
