A polysemous notion, transmission in many ways eludes the conscious and unconscious desire to transmit, and rests on an illusion conducive to transformational processes whose effects can only be measured after the fact. This second stage of the process, as is also the case in therapy, brings meaning to the first stage. A link is proposed with the transmission between mother and child, and the illusion that is a condition of it. The question of repetition is approached from the angle of traumatic suspension and the acquisition of novelty. The first clinical vignette deals with the blocking of a family transmission. Another briefly illustrates the question of the second time through the resumption twenty years later of an analytic treatment.Apoyamos la idea de que la transmisión en psicoanálisis tiene mucho más que ver con una capacidad de redescubrimiento y reinvención en la práctica de cada tratamiento que con la reproducción de un cuerpo de conocimientos o de una técnica, sean cuales sean sus fundamentos teóricos. La transmisión es un concepto polisémico, y en muchos aspectos elude el deseo consciente e inconsciente de transmitir, y se basa en una ilusión propicia a los procesos de transformación cuyos efectos sólo pueden medirse a posteriori. Esta segunda etapa pone de manifiesto el sentido de la primera etapa del proceso, como ocurre también en la terapia. Se propone un vínculo con la transmisión entre madre e hijo y la ilusión que es condición de la misma. La cuestión de la repetición se aborda desde el ángulo de la suspensión traumática y la adquisición de la novedad. La primera viñeta clínica trata del bloqueo de una transmisión familiar. Otra ilustra brevemente la cuestión del segundo tiempo a través de la reanudación veinte años más tarde de un tratamiento analític.Il est soutenu l’idée que la transmission en psychanalyse est bien plus celle d’une capacité de redécouverte, de réinvention dans la pratique de chaque cure que d’une reproduction d’un savoir ou d’une technique, quels qu’en soient les points d’appui théoriques. Notion polysémique, la transmission échappe par bien des points au désir de transmettre conscient et inconscient, et repose sur une illusion propice aux processus transformationnels dont on ne peut qu’après-coup mesurer les effets. Ce deuxième temps fait alors apparaître un sens au premier temps du processus, comme c’est également le cas en thérapeutique. Un lien est proposé avec la transmission entre la mère et l’infans et l’illusion qui en est une condition. La question de la répétition est abordée sous l’angle de la suspension traumatique et sous celui de l’acquisition de la nouveauté. Une première vignette clinique porte sur le blocage d’une transmission familiale.
