The author illustrates this process by recounting a psychoanalytic treatment in which the analyst was the victim of a road accident that left him a paraplegic. The author describes how the change in his “personal equation” during the analysis had a major impact on the analysand’s transference modalities. He shows how the radical modification of the analyst’s “personal equation” had the value of an enacted interpretation, and made it possible to elaborate psychic issues that had hitherto succumbed to the work of the negative.El autor muestra cómo la “ecuación personal” del analista ocupa un lugar central en la constitución del objeto interno de transferencia del analisante, aquí llamado objeto subjetivo. Expone la manera cómo la constitución del objeto se vuelve apoyo del heterogéneo proceso psíquico actuante, que va de la carga del objeto tangible analista a la identificación procesal de su funcionamiento psíquico. El autor ilustra el proceso a través del relato de una cura psicoanalítica en la que el analista fue víctima de un accidente vial que lo dejó parapléjico. El autor señala cómo la modificación de su “ecuación personal” en el transcurso de la cura tuvo un impacto mayor en las modalidades de transferencia del analisante.
