We conclude by outlining four promising avenues for future research, thus offering a potential roadmap for further inquiry.Dans cet article, les auteures explorent l’histoire de la pensée managériale et organisationnelle par le prisme des émotions. Dans le périmètre chronologique fixé, elles donnent à voir les grandes tendances, les tournants décisifs, les éléments de contexte plus général qui structurent ce champ de pensée. En filigrane de leur développement émergent plusieurs tensions contradictoires matérialisées par les dualités entre visibilité/invisibilité, entre rationalité/émotionalité, entre déni/prise en compte des émotions.
