Using two econometric approaches suited to the longitudinal nature of our data, our results reveal a negative association between these two variables. While syndication provides financial and cognitive resources to the company, it can also lead to conflicts of interest and coordination issues that may hinder project success and financial performance.En mobilisant des arguments issus des théories de l’agence et de la dépendance aux ressources, cet article étudie l’impact de la syndication sur la rentabilité post-investissement des entreprises françaises financées par equity crowdfunding (ECF) au cours de la période 2011-2022. En s’appuyant sur deux approches économétriques adaptées à la nature longitudinale de leurs données, les résultats révèlent l’existence d’une association négative entre ces deux variables. Si la syndication procure des ressources financières et cognitives à l’entreprise, elle peut conduire à des divergences d’intérêt et à des problèmes de coordination pouvant altérer la réussite du projet et sa performance financière.Cairn restricted access
