The article investigates the theoretical and managerial potential of questioning the dominant paradigm, which tends to disconnect the challenges of the upstream and downstream of the process. The study proposes a research agenda aimed at overcoming several implicit assumptions that limit our understanding of these operations.L’objectif de cette revue de littérature sur les fusions-acquisitions est d’analyser les causes et les conséquences de l’actuelle distanciation des travaux sur les phases pré-fusion et post-fusion. L’article explore le potentiel théorique et managérial d’une remise en cause du paradigme dominant, qui tend à disjoindre les enjeux de l’amont et de l’aval du processus.
