Through exploring his novels The Open Curtain (2006) and Last Days (first published in 2003 under the title The Brotherhood of Mutilation, then in 2009), we will thus propose an analysis of the interconnectedness between corporeal and textual dismemberment and will interrogate the figurability of the body as void, of the presence of an absence.Cairn free access
