| סיכום: | In diverse ways, George Saunders is a merciless storyteller. The narrators of his short stories are often lucid but, feeling lost, they prove unable to solve the riddle of their dejected lives. Saunders deconstructs the triumphant discourse of the American Way, making its failures manifest. The irony and causticity of his style delineate the surprising features of a morally ruined country. |
