Sumario:For three decades, Super League projects in European football have come and gone. These projects encourage a comparative study of open and closed leagues. Despite real institutional differences, these two models are increasingly converging when it comes to structuring inequalities between clubs. This article sets out to highlight this and to question the relevance of introducing a closed league in European football.
