| Sumari: | Prior to a building project on the Lycée Saint-Joseph site in Dax, on the site of the former Capuchin convent, archaeological surveys - carried out in 2004 by the Institut national de recherches archéologiques preventives (Inrap, C. Scuiller) - revealed two funerary ensembles dating from the 17th-19th centuries. A preventive operation carried out by Hadès in 2007 (N. Sauvaitre), identified five phases of occupation, one of which could be linked to troops passing through Dax during the Napoleonic Wars. |
