An anthropology that is attentive to what children say, as well as to the suffering of caregivers and families, can play a “go between” role between these actors in these care situations.La trayectoria asistencial de una niña enferma hospitalizada en una sala de oncología en Togo y su posterior fallecimiento exigen una reflexión sobre (1) cómo una niña expresa con éxito sus preocupaciones a su grupo social y a sus cuidadores, (2) la calidad de las interacciones entre la niña enferma y los profesionales sanitarios, (3) la necesidad de cuidados paliativos, y (4) el apoyo a las familias afectadas por una muerte prevista. Una antropología atenta a las voces de las niñas, así como al sufrimiento de los cuidadores y las familias, puede actuar como intermediario entre estos actores en estas situaciones de atención.La trajectoire de soin d’une enfant malade hospitalisée dans un service d’oncologie au Togo et son décès obligent à réfléchir (1) à la façon dont un enfant réussit à faire entendre sa plainte auprès de son groupe social et des soignants, (2) à la qualité des interactions entre l’enfant malade et les professionnels de santé, (3) à la nécessité de soins palliatifs et (4) au soutien des familles affectées par une mort annoncée. Une anthropologie attentive aux dires des enfants tout autant qu’à la souffrance des soignants et des familles peut jouer un rôle de « go between » entre ces acteurs dans ces situations de soin.Cairn free access
