Ya no hay que demostrar el lugar cada vez mayor que hoy ocupa la dimensión social y educativa en los museos. El valor relacionado con el conocimiento de las colecciones queda hoy estrechamente secundado por las misiones del Estado y proyectos piloto innovadores.Der dritte Abschnitt widmet sich der Vermittlung von Daten und Dokumenten, der kulturellen Open Data, und im weiteren Sinne, der Problematik der Nutzung neuer digitaler Medien durch museale Einrichtungen, aber auch durch die Öffentlichkeit. Der wachsende Bedeutung der sozialen und erzieherischen Dimensionen von Museen ist unumstritten.
