Prenant acte de l’impossibilité dans laquelle se trouve l’anthropologue d’adopter une posture de recherche distanciée, l’auteur invite le chercheur à assumer sa condition de cocréateur d’une situation sociale et à en tirer les conséquences méthodologiques. Il s’agit de poursuivre l’ouverture d’un espace théorique entre art et anthropologie sociale.This paper sets out to envision fieldwork as a device designed by researchers during the construction of their research object. A parallel should be established between this heuristic installation and the creative process of a theatrical production or of an artistic performance. By acknowledging anthropologists impossibility to adopt the position of a detached inquiry, the author invites the researchers to take on the role of co-creators of a social situation and draw the appropriate consequences in terms of their methodology. This contribution pursues in building a theoretical space between art and social anthropology.ResumenEsta contribución propone contemplar el terreno como un dispositivo creado por el investigador durante la construcción de su objeto de investigación. Esta instalación heurística gana a ser acercada del proceso creativo de una puesta en escena teatral, incluso de una performance artística. Tomando nota de la imposibilidad en la cual se encuentra la antropología de tomar una postura de investigación distanciada, el autor invita al investigador a asumir su condición de co-creador de una situación social y a sacar las consecuencias metodológicas.
