The Seccion Femenina of the Phalange seemed to be easily the most appropriate organisation to incite and control the mobilisation of women. The propaganda spread amongst the female militants aimed to foment an ideological conditioning in order to : 1) justify the use of the women’s skills during war time without contradicting the traditional idea of the housewife, 2) guarantee a vonluntary — and militant— return of women to the home after the war.
